In the spirit of the creepy spy theme, we have undertaken the impossible mission of looking for more gadgets that may satisfy out need for procuring the novelties that will hopefully fulfill our appetite to such curiosities. In other words, we found some more toys one might want to buy and such a gadget is the Night Vision Recording Goggles
Because of real nigh-vision technology, this great toy allows one to see stuff as far as 50 feet away in the dark. That's not all, when something interesting is in view, you can take photos and even videos for some visual evidence that you can use.
So, what exactly is night vision? This Wikipedia entry gives us a description:
"Night vision is the ability to see in low light conditions. Whether by biological or technological means, night vision is made possible by a combination of two approaches: sufficient spectral range, and sufficient intensity range. Humans have poor night vision compared to many animals, in part because the human eye lacks a tapetum lucidum"
In other words, humans, like you and me can not see well in the dark and in order to do so, we are figuring that we need to be bitten by a radioactive animal such as a spider, born with a mutant gene, or buy night vision goggles which the same Wikipedia entry tells us are:
"...telescopes or binoculars with a large diameter objective. Large lenses can gather and concentrate light, thus intensifying light with purely optical means and enabling the user to see better in the dark than with the naked eye alone. "
We have no idea what you will use this technology for, and we dare not ask, but we think Big-Foot-hunters, Paranormal Investigators, Cytologists, and amateur detectives will have a field-day with this great gadget so why can you too?
